Lisnin started in 2023 as a Solana Grizzlython hackathon project — a music marketing tool that connected artists with new listeners through Discord communities. It placed in the top 10 out of 10,000 registrants. Two years later, after talking to hundreds more artists, I rebuilt it as something bigger.
The 2026 Lisnin is an end-to-end artist career platform. Distribution, publishing administration, custom press-kit websites, an industry contact directory, fan engagement, and a music rights marketplace — all in one product. We're built for the artist who wants to actually run their career, not just upload songs and hope.
Lisnin launched in closed beta in 2026 with co-founders Vinay Singh (CTO) and Everton Lewis Jr. (Partnerships). We're currently raising a $250K pre-seed round.
SOL MUSIC LTD
Web3 launchpad and community for independent artists.
Sol Music Ltd was a crowdfunding and investment platform connecting indie musicians with retail investors via web3. I led three major projects from end to end, raising close to six figures for independent artists. We grew the community to ~78K on TikTok, 19K on Discord, and 13K on Twitter, working with developers, community managers, and creative teams as a unit.

WRACKET MUSIC

Since 2022 I've supported Everton Lewis Jr. with business development at Wracket Music, a music supervision company placing songs in film, TV, advertising, and gaming. I've contributed to campaigns including Apple's 2022 product launch, Eli Roth's Thanksgiving, and various Prime Video and MTV projects.
CUBE MUSIC AGENCY
Release strategy, paid media, radio pitching, influencer campaigns.
Cube Music started as a label-services division pitched at Vice Media. When Vice Canada shut down during COVID, we pivoted into a standalone music marketing and PR agency for indie artists. Over four years we drove 10M+ streams across client releases, specializing in release planning, content strategy, paid media (Meta, Google), radio and blog pitching, and influencer campaigns.
Paid digital + micro-influencer + blog placements. Throttled ad spend to trigger algorithmic playlist boosts (Discover Weekly, Release Radar).

A community of music fans with skin in the game.
The Lonely Listeners Club is a community I started in 2022 — a private, exclusive group of about 1,000 holders across 2,777 digital collectables. It grew out of Sol Music as a hub for music fans and indie artists who wanted to be more than a passive audience. Members get early access to projects I run, behind-the-scenes context on artists I'm working with, and a vested stake in the platforms I'm building. Four years in, it's still active — and it became the foundation for what eventually grew into Lisnin.

GET REKT RECORDS
The first label. Sault Ste. Marie, built from scratch.
The first label. I started Get Rekt Records with my brother in our hometown of Sault Ste. Marie. We learned everything in real time — releases, marketing, merch, live events. In 2018 we put on an all-local hip-hop showcase that sold over 200 tickets, one of the most successful indie shows in the town's history at that scale. The Sault Star ran a feature on the label and what we were trying to build for the local scene.
HIGH CUT RECORDS
Durham College student-led non-profit label.
High Cut Records is the student-led non-profit label run by Durham College's Music Business Management program. I joined the marketing team in year one — running social, advising on artist branding and DSP optimization. In year two I was promoted to Co-Manager, where I handled hiring, A&R coordination, and ensuring the contracts and admin that keep a label functional were actually getting done. We set personal-growth goals each semester (leadership, networking, creative process) and reflected on the obstacles in hitting them. It was the first time I taught what I knew while still actively learning.
OSHAWA MUSIC WEEK
Event marketing and production — Music 411 livestream showcase.
I led marketing and production for Music 411, a livestream showcase of interviews and performances by artists in the Oshawa region during Oshawa Music Week. I built the creative assets, ran conversion ads to drive signups, and set up an automated reminder email sequence that fired the day of the event. The 3-hour Twitch livestream peaked at nearly 200 concurrent viewers and 1,000+ total views — the highest-performing event of that year's program.
CANADIAN MUSIC WEEK
Speaker & Mentor's Café Lead · Now Departure Festival
Canadian Music Week is a week-long industry conference, festival, and networking event. I led the Mentor's Café — the matchmaking program connecting registered mentees with industry mentors. I worked the floor making intros, managing the schedule, and ensuring the right pairings happened.
